China is comprised of people from 56 different ethnic groups, each with their own culture and tradition. The cultural persity gave China a number of songs and dances that are not found anywhere else in the world. In this episode of Chinese Touch, we will take a glimpse of the different songs and dances of the various Chinese ethnic groups.
The ethnic Tibetan people are mostly found in high altitude mountainous regions in China. In order to adapt to the harsh climate, Tibetans wear large, heavy loosely fitting garments with large waist, long sleeves and a broad front. In this episode of Chinese Touch, we will look at the artistry and functionality of Tibetan clothing.
The Relie Gull is also known as the "Lost Gull". It was observed for the first time in 1929 in present day Inner Mongolia. It wasn't until 1971 that scientists determined the species to be unique from other gulls.
