The Drum Tower has three levels in total. In the first floor, the drum in the tower is the biggest drum in the whole world. On the second floor, is the museum. A variety of drums are on display there. There are drum performances held every day at 2:30 pm. Each drum is decorated with two beautifully painted Chinese characters. All of them symbolize good fortune for the coming harvest. The 24 drums in the tower represent 24 solar terms in Chinese lunar calendar. The drum in the 3rd floor is in fact the biggest drum in the world for its a few wider-inches.
